Question Library

The Question Library allows you to import and manage your own security and compliance questions in Narad.

If your organization already has a questionnaire that contains manually created or customized questions, you can import those questions into Narad instead of creating them individually.

Importing Questions

When you import a questionnaire, Narad adds the questions to your Question Library.

For example, if you import a questionnaire containing 10 questions, all 10 questions will be added to the library and can then be mapped to the appropriate controls.

Map Questions to Controls

Each imported question needs to be mapped to a relevant control from the Control Library.

This mapping helps Narad understand what security or compliance requirement each question is intended to assess.

For example:

Question: Do you have a documented Information Security Policy?
Mapped Control: Information Security Policy

Once questions are mapped to controls, Narad can use this relationship when generating questionnaires and assessing vendor requirements.

Managing Your Questions

From the Question Library, you can:

• Search for imported questionnaires.

• Filter questionnaires by status.

• View the number of questions, controls, and domains associated with a questionnaire.

• Import additional questionnaires.

• Open a questionnaire to review and map its questions to controls.

Why map questions to controls?

Mapping questions to controls creates a connection between your organization's questions and the underlying security requirements.

This allows Narad to reuse your question library as part of your TPRM and questionnaire workflows, rather than treating every questionnaire as a separate set of unrelated questions.
