Documents
The Documents section allows you to manage the security, compliance, and other supporting documents associated with a third party.
These documents can be used as evidence when assessing the vendor's controls and can also support AI-powered control testing and questionnaire responses.
Managing Documents
For each document, you can view:
Name — The document name.
Added By — The user who uploaded or added the document.
Uploaded On — The date the document was added to Narad.
Expires On — The date the document is considered expired.
Action — Options for managing the document.
Adding Documents
You can add documents directly to the third party using the "Add" option.
You can also use "Request" when you need to request documents or evidence from the relevant third party.
Document Expiry
Narad tracks the expiry date of documents so that outdated evidence can be identified and replaced.
Documents approaching or past their expiry date can be reviewed and updated to ensure control assessments are based on current information.
Using Documents for Control Testing
Documents added to a third party can be used when testing assigned controls.
When AI-based control testing is performed, Narad can analyze the available documents to determine whether they provide sufficient evidence to satisfy the control requirements.
Keeping relevant and up-to-date documents in the third party's Documents section helps improve the quality and reliability of control assessments.
