Artifacts act as a fallback knowledge base for AI.
Source Priority
For every question, AI check Policies first or Artificats first, it depends upon Configuration unders Settings
Policies First
AI first looks for an answer in policy documents, if not found look at Artifacts
Artifacts First
AI first looks for an answer in Artifacts, if not found look at Policies
Folder-based management
You can organize evidence by:
Month (e.g., Jan 2026, Feb 2026)
Product
Audit cycle
Customer or regulation
AI Enable Toggle for Artifacts
Just like policies, artifacts folders also have an AI Enable option.
Only AI-enabled folders and files will be considered while preparing response
Restrictions for Artifacs
Maximum file size: 50MB
Supported file types: PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX
You can upload a maximum of 30 files at once
