What Is the Maker - Checker Flow?

The Maker - Checker flow ensures that every AI-generated response is reviewed by at least two people before it is considered complete.

This flow is applicable to Questionnnaire section only, and not to Chat section.

How the Maker–Checker Flow Works

Step 1: Maker (Response Creation)

• A team member (Maker):

  • Uses AI to generate responses

  • Performs an initial review

  • Makes basic edits or refinements

• Once satisfied, the Maker submits the responses for review

Step 2: Checker (Independent Review)

• Another team member (Checker):

  • Reviews each response carefully

  • Checks:

    • Accuracy

    • Language

    • References and evidence

  • Can:

    • Approve responses

    • Raise clarifications or questions back to the Maker

Step 3: Clarification Loop (If Required)

• If clarification is raised:

  • The Maker responds with explanations or corrections

  • Updates the answer if needed

• This back-and-forth continues until the Checker is satisfied

Step 4: Approval Completion

• Once all responses are approved:

  • The questionnaire moves to Approved status

  • The maker–checker cycle is considered complete

• This confirms:

  • AI-generated responses have been reviewed

  • Human accountability is established

You can control whether generated responses can be downloaded or sent to artifacts without additional review:

• Unrestricted - Responses can be used without review restrictions.

• Restricted - Responses require review before they can be downloaded or sent to artifacts.
