Policies

The Cabinet is the central repository in the NARAD platform where you store all documents. It consists of three key sections.

1. Policies

2. Evidence

3. Artifacts

Each section plays a specific role in how AI generates answers and attaches supporting evidence.

Setting up Cabinet is first step or pre-requisite before you are ready to respond to any questionnaire.

Policies

The Policies section is used to upload all documents that define your organization’s rules, controls, and procedures.

What you can upload

Any internal document you want AI to read and use for answering questionnaires - Policies, SOPs, Controls, Procedures, Guidelines etc.

Using Screenshots as Input Documents

You can also upload files containing screenshots (for example, system settings, dashboards, configurations) into the Cabinet.

AI can use these screenshots to generate responses, provided the content is clearly visible.

Important Guidelines for Screenshot Uploads

For AI to work correctly with screenshots, ensure the following:

• Screenshots are high quality

• Text is clear, sharp, and readable

• Avoid blurry, cropped, or low-resolution images

• Avoid screenshots with hidden, masked, or partially visible text

If the text in the screenshot is not readable, AI may:

• Generate incomplete answers

• Assign a low confidence code

• Fail to generate an answer

Folder-based management

You can organize policies using folders for various products or services you offer

For example:

• Credit Card Policies

• Debit Card Policies

• Product-wise, business-unit-wise, or region-wise folders

AI Enable Toggle

Each file and folder has an AI Enable toggle.

• ON - AI will read and use content only from AI enabled file and folder to create the response

• OFF - AI will completely ignore documents and folders that are not AI enabled

Example use case

If today’s questionnaire is only related to Debit Card, you can:

• Enable AI only for the Debit Card folder

• Disable AI for all other folders

This ensures AI generates answers only from relevant policies, avoiding confusion or incorrect responses.

Note - There has to be atleast on policy document with ‘AI Enabled’ as Yes else no response will be generated for uploaded Questionniare

Restrictions for Policy

• Maximum file size: 50MB

• Supported file types: PDF, DOC, DOCX

• You can upload a maximum of 30 files at once
